Did you noticed that all the MVP from middle school's nick names are from the Rodent's family?? ^_^ (Except Keiko) Also, here is a bit of info of the past so you don't get too confused. Mitsui becomes MVP in the winter when Takato, Kusao, Inoue were in 1st grade. At that time Kusao's name was feared and Inoue was known as a good player and Takato, just a bench member.
When they become 2nd grade, Keiko trains Takato and he grows into a starting SG who marks Kusao and they face Inoue in the IH, a 2nd year who surpass most 3rd years. In 2nd winter, Inoue becomes the captain and becomes MVP. When their rival becomes the MVP, it is a big injury to Takato and Kusao and they train hard to beat him, and Kusao becomes MVP in the 3rd year summer of IH and Takato becomes MVP in the 3rd year winter. (But for the regionals, Takato was the MVP for the summer and Kusao was the MVP for the winter. As you can see, the other worked extra hard to beat the other who became the MVP for the next game) But their match was VERY close and there are almost no difference between them.
Takato is the smallest and Kusao is the tallest. Kusao is considered the best because of his 4-point play, which fouls out the other players except Takato and Inoue. Takato and Inoue never got fouled out by Kusao, but since he fouls out the starting members and other good players, it is almost useless. Other then 3-pointers, Takato is good at lay-ups, Kusao is good at fouling others, Inoue is good at LONG distance shots. Inoue usually does not jump unless he is too far. (That is hard to do) They are the best rivals yet best friends. They are ALL MVPs and Kusao likes Keiko, Inoue thinks she is the prettiest and Takato makes sure that they don't get near her.
