***Did you noticed that Mr. Inoue made all the captains for Slam Dunk II point guard?? =) First is the regional districts, then the school names and which team in NBA they are based on, then their jersey # then their positions, their names, nick names, year they are in, and a short description, then the people they are based on and lastly, a link to get more info if needed. And there are a few tips from the NBA for in order to know Slam Dunk, you need to know NBA from 1990, the time when Mr. Inoue wrote Slam Dunk.***
NOTE~! For those who are confused. In Japan, there are 2 basketball trials, Summer and Winter. School starts in Spring and ends in Winter. So, Akagi, Kogure still go to Shohoku but they quit basketball in order to study for the University Entrance Exam while Mitsui doesn't care for Universities, so stays in the team. Don't believe me? Ok, so why is Maki and Fujima still in school? I doubt they flunked. Maki goes to Kainan High School, connected to Kainan University. That means that Kainan University is so good that it has its own High School, which is like a Private School. (Though they themselves have to work hard in order to go to Kainan Univeristy. Just because you go to the High School doesn't always mean you can go to that University too) Another words, Maki, Jin and yes even Kiyota are extemely smart and rich enough to afford the High School fees. Also, in the beginning of Slam Dunk is Spring. You can see how amazing Sakuragi is because he didn't have the whole year to learn basketball but � a year, not including the Summer Vacation. (3 month? Not including the IH . . .)My brother and I have really analyzed this throughly and this is what we can conclude.
