Kainan~! (LA Lakers around 1990)
#4 PG Maki Shinichi (ji ji, Old Boy)- 3rd year The best PG who had felt
threatened by Sendoh last year. This year, he had trained Kiyota and does
his best to keep his team stable and go to the IH again. Very strong leader
who always needs to be marked by more then one person. (Magic Johnson)
(He fits the description because Magic had the size of PF and so does Maki
(and their names both start with M.)but are Guards. Their moves are very alike,
though Maki doesn't use hook shots very often as Magic. (Hook shots were Magic's
favorite shots) Also it makes sense because around 1990, LA Lakers were the best
until Jordon, (Rukawa) appeared and crumpled Magic. Though Rukawa doesn't crumple
Maki, it comes very close to it and it is obvious that next year, Rukawa might be
better.)
#5 C Takasago Kazuma - 3rd year Good center who looks like Akagi.
#6 SG Jin Soichiro - 3rd Considered one of the best shooting guard. He has a
girlfriend who is very faithful to him for they were childhood best friends
since kindergarten. (Before Elementary) He went to same middle school with Fukuda.
(Acts like Larry Bird but not sure. Sort of looks and acts like him too ^^
Bird was a very nice and gentle guy in my opinion.)
#9 F Mudou Tadashi - A player in Kainan. Starting member.
#10 SF Nobunaga Kiyota (Wild or Field Monkey) 1st year Very much like Sakuragi
Hanamichi in every way. He acts like Sakuragi and hates Rukawa. He knows Takato
and Kusao from his Middle School years. He fell in love with Fujima Keiko in 3rd
grade in Elementary and decided to devote his life to basketball. (Like Sakuragi,
he plays basketball because of a girl ^_^)(we are going to base him as Pippen/In
Slam Dunk III, you will know why ^_^)
#15 SF Miyamasu Yoshinori (alien) 3rd year, Very short and weak appearance, he is
the second best 3-pointer next to Jin. He was the first guys to beat Sakuragi
in basketball. He was used to see if Sakuragi Hanamichi was a beginner or a very
good player. They found out that Sakuragi had some interesting secrets in his
basketball game plays along with the fact that Sakuragi Hanamichi is someone who
can only dunk and do lay-ups and perhaps good rebounds.
Taoka Riki- (not Takato Sho from Shohoku ^_^) Coach of Kainan who was a rival of
Ryonan's coach back in High School.

Iura Michiko (Minaku, Micchy (same as Mitsui ^_^)) 3rd year She used to go out
with Shiomi Takashi (NOT Kusao Takeshi) who once was a basketball player for
Kainan but quits the team. She has a good taste for fashion and comes from a
rich Doctor family. Her parents were killed by gangsters so she hates all kinds
of gangsters. She lives with her uncle who isn't married yet. Their parents
had wanted a boy so they were going to name the child Minaku but when they found
out they got a girl, they named her Michiko but called her Minaku as a nick name.

Maki Daisuke 4th grade Elementary A little brother of Kainan's captain,
Maki Shinichi. He is very young and smart and has a lap-top. (They are from a
rich family, remember?) He has a cancer and the doctors thought he wouldn't make
it to the age 5. It was a miracle they said when he lived up to 7. Now age 10,
he is still too weak to go to school. (He has tutoring) He has random heart
problems among many other symptoms. (This is a disease which can't be cured, I
forgot the name) He is always in a wheel-chair and programs games and draws pictures
in his past time. His dream is to be MVP basketball player like his brother.
(Based on a child I know, Peter. I pray that he can live up to be 10 like Daisuke
Maki. . . The doctors say that he can't live up to be 5. And he is only 3 at the
moment. . . . . )
Kawamura Anju 2nd year Girlfriend of Jin, who went to same school with him and
Fukuda. When Fukuda saw her in Middle School, he falls in love with her. Though
she loves Jin and tries to be faithful to him, she can't help pitying Fukuda who
never received any love because of his appearance. Jin always tells her to make
up her mind from the heart and he would stay as her friend if she decides to
choose Fukuda over him. (Ain't he sweet?)
